HKDA Global Design Awards 2016 Annual Book

In 2016, HKDA is entering its 45th year, which is also the 40th anniversary of GDA. To celebrate both the Association and the prestigious awards, the Design NextGen Awards and Best Design Teacher awards have been established to acknowledge the importance of design education and academic training of talents. In addition, HKDA also launches its first Lifetime Honorary Award to honour Dr. Kan Tai Keung, who has been a contributor to the design industry for almost 50 years continuously. With these new awards, HKDA not only aims to promote design further, but they also connect to extend the design like-minded before and after.

The book, HKDA Global Design Awards 2016 Annual Book 6500°K, covers over 200 awarded works in 4 main categories of Digital, Graphics, Products (incl. Fashion), Spatial & Environmental spanning a total of 41 design sub-categories. Besides, the book has presented each story and inspiration of Gold Awards works, with 14 world-class judges’ professional and unique ideas and comments on design.
